We are extremely proud of this wonderful project for which we are supplying more than 3,000 km of cable. Together with our partners, Studer Cables and BizLink Elocab we won the tender for the VIRM (Extended Inter Region Rolling Stock) series 4 project.
An important step in the modernization and extension of the lifespan of these trains by no less than 18 to 20 years. In addition, modernization is a lot less expensive than ordering new trains.
What makes this project extra special is NS's almost completely circular approach: 99% of the materials are reused, recycled or given a second life elsewhere. An inspiring example of sustainability in the mobility sector!
The first deliveries for the Pre Try Out and Try Out have already been successfully carried out and we are ready for the deliveries of the main project. Of course, everything is done according to the specific delivery and packaging instructions that make this project so special.
